This is one of my favorite pieces, as it is one of my larger and more impressive ones. This particular piece certainly makes a statement and can easily be dressed up or down.

Believe it or not, my favorite letter in the alphabet is the letter V. I'm not sure why, but it is. Perhaps it is the fact that it's extremely simple or perhaps it is the fact that it resembles an arrow pointing down and it gives it a towering view of the rest of the alphabet.

I've been told that humans have 8 types of intelligences. One of those intelligences is called the "Naturalistic" intelligence. People that have a high naturalistic IQ tend to be aware of nature and their surroundings. I'd venture to say that one of my stronger intelligences is my naturalistic intelligence. I believe this is what allows me to look at the simple things around us and draw inspiration from them to create something beautiful.

If you've read up to this point, you are probably in agreement with me that this base is just gorgeous. It has a feminine appeal to it, yet it gives off an aura of masculinity. This particular base is particularly challenging to create. The reason is that the V has a slight curve, rather than a straight line. Remember, it is the little touches that separate art from mass production, and this particular base certainly has those qualities.
