Over the last couple of years, the electric fireplace has gained incredible popularity with many homeowners. Currently, there are many different electric fireplace manufacturers on the market. I personally don’t manufacture the electric inserts, instead I make the stone cabinet that surrounds the fireplace insert.
I highly recommend that you purchase the insert that I have available along with my fireplaces. Not because I make any money off of it (I don’t, I sell them at cost to you). But rather because I have seen the low end, and the high end inserts, and these inserts look essentially the same as the best known brand out there. However, it is up to you. Since I don’t make any money from bundling an insert, I have given you the option to order your electric fireplace without the insert and eliminate my cost to include it. However, I can tell you from experience, that spending $1,000 on a brand name insert won’t make a visual difference in realism.
