This is another base that was inspired by my study of basic Roman architecture. Columns were used primarily to support many of the ancient buildings. However, their design was not limited to just buildings. Because of their popularity, it was inevitable that they would come up in the designs for my bases. Of course, being the artists that I am, I had to express my creativity by adding a little bit of flair to this design. The Corintio base is actually in my opinion a bit more intricate than the Romana base, because of the carvings on the top part of the base. However, it is not as difficult to carve as the Capitel base, which features round carvings with plenty of curves.
